Our Environmental Policy
Cardanett Janitorial Services Ltd recognises the importance of environmental protection and is committed to operating its business responsibly and in compliance with all environmental regulations, legislation and approved codes of practice. To this end, Cardanett commits to:
- promote chemical companies with ISO9001
- promote cleaning chemicals manufactured from naturally occuring products, such as citrus acids and rice husks
- purchasing all paper products from sustainable forests or recycled
use biodegradeable plastic sacks - encourage microfibre cleaning
- collect and recycle used plastic chemical containers
- producing a weekly route planner so as to avoid unecessary use of diesel
- ensure that all waste management is dealt with in the correct manner
- performing business electronically where possible to reduce paper usage
- offer free on-site training on dilution rates and microfibre cleaning to promote better practice
- assess and regularly re-assess the environmental effects of our business activities
- train its employees in environmental issues
- minimise the production of waste
- minimise material wastage
